New (2008) Standard FFI consists of FFI and Haz Mat Operations Questions. Old (2002) Standard FFII consisted of FFII and Haz Mat Operations Questions. Our Mission The mission of the Minnesota Fire Service Certification Board is to provide a means of recognition of persons who achieve the levels of competency specified in established standards. These certification levels are available to members of career and volunteer fire departments, as well as others working in the field. Levels of certification that are offered include Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Fire Instructor I, Fire Instructor II, Fire Inspector I, Fire Inspector II, Fire Officer I, Fire Officer II, Airport Fire Fighter, Fire Apparatus Operator, Public Fire Safety Educator I, Public Fire Safety Educator II , Hazardous Materials Technician Recently Accredited Certifications: Fire Inspector III Fire Investigator These levels of certification have been reviewed and are nationally accredited by: International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) The Pro Board Other certification levels coming soon include Rescue Technician; Surface Water, Confined Space, Vehicle and Machinery.
